Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan covers you for mental health or therapy services. The insurance plans and types of payments we currently accept include:
- Money Order
- Debit/Credit Card
- Cashier’s Check
Personal checks are not accepted. We also offer a sliding scale for the uninsured. Please check with our office manager.
Questions to ask to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?
Our practice accepts cash, cashier’s checks, money orders, CashApp and all major credit cards as forms of payment for counseling services. We also offer a sliding scale for the uninsured. Please check with our office manager.
Some resource center services will require payment, but other services may have nominal fees or no cost at all. Go to the resource center drop down and contact the Resource Center professional to see if the service of interest has fees.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before hand. You may call us at 202-812-0261. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
